Where should I go? Banquet or tournament?

I need help deciding on what to do. I'm a manager for my school's wrestling team and on the same day as my Sophmore banquet, I have a state tournament. State tournaments are all day and I don't know what I should do. If I don't go to the wrestling tournament then my best friend and childhood friend might me frustrated and overwhelmed with all the work we have to do. She told me that she rather go to the tournament than the banquet. I really want to go to my Sophmore banquet because I borrowed money from my sister and she wants me to go so does my friends. I don't know what to do. Please help. I got all the papers signed for the banquet.
