How would I go about starting up my business...?

I want to start my own business so I can have more money for fun stuff for my daughter and I. I am a single stay at home mom. How? I saved for 10 years of working basically and only buy things I NEED. I have saved enough to stay at home with my daughter for 2 years, without draining my savings completely. I inherited a house and do not have a car payment. I only have utilities... and food, that kind of stuff. I can make purses, backpacks, quilts, crochet and knit - just about anything. I make jewelry too. I make baby headbands, bows and matching outfits. I wanted to know where I should go about advertising my stuff. If it does not go anywhere I am not going to waste money on it because I do not have money to waste!! Thanks for the advice!!
