The cold how to treat it?

.. My son just had a cold, he is 8 months and is still nursing , he is almost getting over it but now im starting to get congested and feeling sick , is there anything i can do to make it go faster since i have to take care of him , and don't have time to be sick ( also i am nursing so i cant take all that over the counter stuff.. hope someone can help .. thanks
