What is the goal and purpose of "Lockerz?"?

Well usually when someone even goes on a site the main maker of that site gets money. I think in my own opinion that they are taking those points and considering them as money. My friends talk about Lockerz to me a lot and I think there just a waste of time and money if you ask me!
