What were richard nixon's downfalls?

Alger Hiss and Watergate.Nixon's role in exposing Alger Hiss as a communist spy in the late 1940s made him a man hated by liberals and lefties and news reporters.The Watergate burglary gave Nixon's enemies an issue to use against him in order to destroy him politically.It amazes me there are still professional Nixon haters around and he's been dead for fifteen years.
