Retainer makes me talk funny?

i have the invisible retainer, and ive ahd it for a few weeks now and i fixed my s's but for some reason i still cant say my c's and k's right. like if i say kangaroo, it comes out khangaroo. its annoying and embarrasing. will i get used to this or is it a thing that the retainer comes with and ill be stuck talkin like this? lol
