Eloping but having a reception... Creative ideas please!?

first of all you can do it anyway you want too.. it's your day. as for the invites. we just got married a couple of weeks ago with only immediate family at the ceremony the other invites had stated we are getting married and would love for you to help us celebrate this special occasion by joining us at the reception. of course it had all the other info too..for food well you could do a small buffet of sandwiches, crackers, snack foods or appetizers, or well any of your favorite foods, as for the gifts of course you can.. and for people to dress up totally up to you.. if you want them too just mention in the invite what kind of dress it will be.good luck
